Building and Funding the Future of Fun, Decentralized, and Smart Health Engagement: The Health Hero Developer & Game Dev Portal What Does HealthHero Do?
We believe that by collaborating with the developer community, we can create experiences that will empower millions of people to take control of their health and well-being. That is why we are pleased to announce the launch of our new developer and game dev portal, which will provide developers with access to our cutting-edge web3 platform as well as resources and support to assist them in creating innovative digital health experiences and web3 health games.
The Go! Platform: Our Go! platform is built on the most recent web3 technology and is intended to be flexible, extensible, and scalable. It provides a wide range of features and integrations to meet the needs of developers, healthcare providers, and patients. Developers will be able to use our API to access a variety of health activity data and create integrations and applications to help people stay healthy and engaged.
Ventures for Health Hero
$50M Ecosystem Fund: In addition to our developer and game dev portals, we're announcing the launch of a $50M ecosystem fund that we're raising. This fund will be used to incubate and accelerate other digital health and health game companies that use our platform to build digital health experiences and web3 health games. We believe that by collaborating with other companies, we can build a thriving ecosystem that will drive innovation and growth in the digital health space.
Game Jams and Grants: In order to support the developer community, we will also host regular game jams and award grants to developers who are creating innovative digital health experiences and web3 health games. The prizes for these game jams will be in our cryptocurrency token, $HLTHY, which can be used to purchase services and products on our platform.
The next game jam will focus on AR/VR health-related games. Create AR/VR games in which the game action is powered by steps or physical activities.
Using Niantic Lightship and Unity, a toolkit for building location-based AR experiences, you can create an AR/XR health game for our healthy metaverse called Health Hero City. Real-world mapping, location-based triggers, and AR object tracking are among the features included in this toolkit, which can be used to create engaging and interactive health games. The following are some examples of health games that can be created with Niantic Lightship:
- A scavenger hunt-style game in which players must look for virtual digital collectibles at specific locations in order to earn points and improve their overall health and fitness.
- An augmented reality workout game that guides players through exercises and meditations while providing feedback on form and progress.
- A walking or running game that tracks players' progress and rewards them for reaching specific distance or time spent exercising milestones.
The Health Hero grant programmed is intended to support innovative ideas and talented individuals who are pushing the limits of what is possible on the decentralized web. We're looking for projects with high retention, user growth, and revenue potential. Our general guidelines for grant recipients include: a minimum of 1,000 users (for a 7-day campaign), an average playtime of 3 minutes or more, and a cost to acquire a user of less than $1 with an average revenue per user of more than $1.
$HEALTHY is a game-changing new cryptocurrency that allows holders to receive free healthcare and mental health services, as well as reimbursement for healthy food purchases. This currency is intended to empower individuals to take control of their health and well-being while also making it simple for them to obtain the care and support they require. $HEALTHY is emitted by developer creations, with the best creations incubated and supported to launch their own similar tokens on the Health Hero Chain, a layer 1 blockchain designed specifically for the healthcare industry.
Healthcare and wellness are two industries. The Health Hero Chain enables developers to create decentralized applications (dApps) and tokens that are tailored to their users' specific needs and built on top of a robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure. Users can get the best care and support with $HLTHY, and developers can create innovative new solutions that empower people to take control of their health and well-being.

Demand for X
Many of the best ideas we will fund will surprise us and will not be ones we were expecting. We are, however, very interested in seeing some health experiences. See below for our most recent request for X(s) (RFX), which outlines some of those concepts in broad strokes. Please do not feel obligated to work on any of these concepts in order to apply to our programmers. The vast majority of the products and teams we fund will remain the same. sort of companies we've funded in the past. Continue doing what you were doing before reading this post. Also, don't create an experience just because it's on this list. The RFX exists primarily to encourage you to apply if you already have an idea in one of these areas.
